Hey stranger, that’s Barbara. Long term dreams and ticking off items from her bucket list newly retired and excited to start this journey and take on the Appalachian Trail!
Larry: Husband and Trail Sherpa
All around handy man to have with us, Larry is our Sherpa and at the helm of Scout’s Envy. Keeping Piper company on her days off and making sure we are fed as we go.
Tim aka Gunny
Younger brother to Larry and a retired Marine ready to “embrace the suck”, Tim is a magical light hearted addition to the crew.
Piper aka The EDDS
Piper is a 12 ish year old pound puppy, who loves hiking and treats, and serves not only as a scout, guide, and heating pad, but is our Early Dinner Detection System (EDDS). This old gal will be joining us as the trail allows and will be minding our trail Sherpa Larry and the Scouts Envy the rest of the time.

A new to us Freedom Express rv. She will truly mean freedom for us as we won’t be limited to just camping or using hostels and we will definitely be the envy of the scouts as we break out of the bubble since we won’t need to carry all of our gear everyday
Lorraine : I.T.ish, labor and delivery
Oldest daughter and cheerleader of all things adventure, Lorraine our Aritst not in residence with the crew, will be our it connection to the world. Has been handy with getting Scout’s Envy ready and well equipped for our journey.
