Countdown day 6

Hiking the Appalachian Trail

Departure day is getting closer! I might cry I am so excited! Good thing I have my trail hankies ready😉

In small spaces with moving parts having efficient and secure storage of everyday items is very important! And having towels falling to the floor when floor space is at a premium is unacceptable. Easily solves with the addition of a simple loop placed midway on the towel for hanging. You could also use that loop as a way to identify to whom each towel belongs by color coding or writing names on the fabric.

Adding to our mobile camp set up this small but might fire pit. This little one puts off nice heat and light but no smoke. Pretty sure it’s magic… or science.

Lorraine, the youngest and currently most daring of our crew mounted the roof and has added three coats of waterproofing paint to the roof of Scout’s Envy. In preparation for our departure the next ten days are about packing, cleaning, and customizing the RV. Which will be our camp for the next 6 months when we are not sleeping under the stars along the Appalachian Trail.
